We’re excited to offer a panel discussion and to invite YOU to come participate in the conversation! The goal is a lively conversation about the science that is coming out of the Roots So Deep films, a (about the impacts of Adaptive Multi-Paddock grazing) and about perspectives from some of our locals with scientific backgrounds. It’s also a solid opportunity to discuss how to make sense of scientific papers…how to be clear on what they communicate and to avoid over generalizations even as such papers can stoke curiosity and additional questions (especially around climate change!).
Panelists include:
Kevin Dunham - farmer, butcher, sheep shearer, focused on use of livestock to improve soils and farmland
John Fetrow - DVM, Professor Emeritus, UMN Dairy Production Medicine
Gary Ketcheson - Forest Hydrologist, retired from retired from the US Forest Service
Kurt Johnson - Marine Biologist, retired from the private sector
Richard Gammon - Professor Emeritus, UW Chemical Oceanography, PhD in Physical & Environmental Chemistry, specializing in the global carbon cycle and more
If you are interested in this upcoming conversation, you can RVSP to Judy.
