The Organic Farm School is excited to be working with the Whidbey Camano Land Trust on one of their largest acquisitions, the Keystone Farm & Forest Preserve, 216 acres of beautiful forest, ag, and nearshore space just south of Coupeville . Located 30 minutes north of the primary OFS Farm, the site offers a diversity of opportunities for graduates of the Core Training Program to set up 1/8 to 1/2 acre farm business incubators. Over time it will also provide space for the OFS to demonstrate the use of regenerative organic farming methods for the general public to explore, such as the use of cover crops, integration of small scale livestock, a diversity of grain and legume plantings, and more.

The site is scheduled to open to the public in 2025. In the meantime, staff, students, and volunteer Farm Stewards are working to establish blocks of cover crops for soil development, and to develop the infrastructure near the barn.
