Week Long Farm Stays

Applicants are accepted on a rolling basis, with preference given to those seriously interested in how vegetables get from field to plate. Participants work with students and staff from 8-noon under the direction of the Farm Manager, with afternoons and evenings left flexible for exploring the island. June through September (to make tent life more comfortable).

Pre-requisites:

• Individuals or couples, 21 and over

• Interested and able to engage in fieldwork for 4 hours per day for 5 consecutive days

• Competent in communication and teamwork

• Able to accept direction and input from staff

• Financially able to cover personal expenses during the program

• Current Covid vaccination, as well as current tetanus shot.

• Prepared to live in a tent (on a platform) for the full week.

Cost:

$250 for 5 days or $400 for 7 days
