Volunteer
In keeping with our mission, we look for volunteers as a way of not only addressing tasks that staff and students can’t quite fit in the workday, but also as a way of connecting members of our community with experiences that deepen their understanding of what we do at the OFS.
Currently, we are looking for volunteers who would like to:
teach farm-to-table cooking classes in our Feed & Seed kitchen
serve as hosts for our Friday Night “Farm-Fired Conversations” by greeting guests and/or cooking pizza in our wood-fired oven
help with weeding around the Feed & Seed
tend the herb area near the wash/pack
pull t-posts and roll up fence wire at Keystone Farm & Forest Preserve
string-trim weeds around fence lines and buildings at Keystone Farm & Forest Preserve
