The Students

Meet the Class of 2023 — The class of 2024 is coming soon!

Abigail

Hi! My name is Abigail and I will be in the upcoming 2023 class of Organic Farm School! I was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada with my mom, dad and two brothers. I’ve always loved being outside and spending time with animals, but growing up in Sin City I never really had the opportunity to visit any near by ranches or farms. So I’m very excited for this upcoming year and can’t wait for all the opportunities ahead of me and my peers!

Connar

My name is Connar and i'm currently living and loving in the sunflower state. I work at an emergency vet as well as a  small organic vegetable farm! When I'm not working you can find me having a picnic, reading a book, or fostering some pets (I've fostered over 45 since the beginning of COVID!), or spending time with my old lady foster fail, Irene! (pictured hiking with me in Colorado on my birthday back in September.

Kevin

My name is Kevin and I am a 29 year old from Bellevue Washington. I am an adventurous soul who loves to get outside whenever possible. I love to skateboard, hike, bike, snowboard and anything else that get my heart rate up. I am a huge music nerd and food is my holy grail. My day starts off by statically planning out all the delicious food I’m going to devour and ends with me in bed dreaming about what delicacy I should cook up next. I tend to always have a smile on my face and never take anything too seriously.

Lucy

Hey y’all! I’m Lucy. I’m from the boondocks of Chattanooga, Tennessee. I wouldn’t be me without my mom and dad, their house, and the land I grew up on. It's so dear to my heart! I have an uplifting, tight knight group of friends that have gotten me through a lot. In my spare time, I love to cook, spend time with my cats, and read all different kinds of books. I can’t wait to be on the OFS farm and learn more about farming!

Stephen

Hello, I’m Stephen. I was born in California, grew up in Texas, and moved to Washington after high school. Since I was a kid I’ve wanted to garden, it was when I moved to Washington that I was able to really find out how much I loved gardening for food, and it was moving to Whidbey Island that gave me the opportunity to adopt two goats and learn just how much I care for animals.
